Delegate Tasks from Your Agent to the Talkable AI Assistant

A dark agent terminal handing a revenue question to the Talkable AI Assistant while continuing landing-page work.

With this update, your own agent, connected to Talkable over MCP, can hand a whole task to the Talkable AI Assistant, keep working, and collect the result when it’s ready.

Agents increasingly hand specialist work to sub-agents. Your agent knows your work. The Talkable AI Assistant knows your referral program, your campaigns, metrics, reports, and setup, and now takes that specialist role for your agent.

Here’s how it works:

  • Hand off in plain language. Ask ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Claude, Codex, VS Code, Gemini, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Grok, Perplexity, or any MCP-compatible agent to give Talkable a task. The assistant works on it with the same knowledge and tools as in your dashboard.
  • Keep working while it runs. Your agent gets a link to the conversation right away and can check progress step by step. Long-running analyses finish in the background.
  • Collect the finished result. Your agent picks up the answer when it’s ready and builds on it. Only the connection that started a task can collect its result.
  • Follow every step in the dashboard. Each delegated task is an AI Assistant conversation that you and your team can open and review.
  • Work within the access you grant. Delegation runs on a connection with write access, under that connection’s role and permissions. Changes apply immediately, so grant write access only to agents that need it.

Try: “Ask Talkable which campaign drove the most referral revenue on my-store in the last 30 days, and keep going on our landing page copy while it works.”

With delegation, the Talkable AI Assistant works like a sub-agent inside your own agent, with every step on record in your dashboard.

For setup details and permissions, see the Talkable MCP Server documentation.
