The Problem: Previously, any push notification sent within 24 hours of a Wallet install could count toward Wallet Push Sales—even Welcome notifications. This blanket attribution approach inflated sales reporting and made it impossible to isolate the true impact of performance campaigns.
Our merchant partners asked for attribution clarity—and we delivered.
We’ve revamped the Wallet Push Sales logic to:
- Exclude default wallet pushes (e.g., Welcome, Reminder messages) by default
- Add an opt-in setting to count custom push notifications toward attributed sales
This gives your team full control over what should and shouldn’t influence your Wallet Push Sales data.
When creating or editing a Wallet push notification, you’ll now see a new checkbox “Enable sales attribution for this launch”
This checkbox is:
- Disabled by default for standard pushes (like Welcome or reminder messages)
- Enabled by default for Custom Push Notifications—but you can turn it off if attribution isn’t needed
Once enabled, purchases made within 24 hours after the push is sent will be tracked as attributed Wallet Push Sales.
This update brings precision to your Wallet sales tracking:
- 🎯 Clean Attribution: Eliminate noise from system messages and highlight true campaign-driven conversions
- 📊 Actionable Insights: Know which custom pushes actually drive revenue
- 🛠️ More Control: Choose what counts, campaign by campaign
Wallet Push Notifications are a powerful tool—but only if the data tells the truth. With this new attribution logic, your team can confidently measure what’s working and double down on what moves the needle.
